Such a coincidence happens rarely and that too during elections. When polling is done and political parties are waiting for the results. The coincidence is such that one is the current Chief Minister and the other is a contender for the post of CM from the opposition party. Something similar happened on Sunday when Himachal Chief Minister and BJP’s CM face Jairam Thakur and senior Congress leader Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu were seen sitting side by side.

In fact Jairam Thakur left for Delhi after the Himachal BJP meeting in Parwanoo. He reached Chandigarh airport by road and took a flight to New Delhi from there. In the same flight, senior Congress leader and Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, who had been projecting himself as the chief ministerial candidate in the assembly elections, was also going to New Delhi.

side by side seat

It was a coincidence that the seats of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and Sukhu were side by side in the flight. Jairam Thakur’s seat was on the window side. The photo of both the leaders sitting together in the flight went viral immediately. On the other hand, both the leaders went to Delhi talking to each other.

Jairam went to participate in the road show

Chief Minister Jairam Thakur went to New Delhi to participate in the roadshow organized by the BJP in the run up to the Municipal Corporation elections. Since Delhi has a sizeable number of Himachalis, BJP organized this road show of Jairam Thakur to win this vote bank in its favor.

Sukhu will meet the high command

On the other hand, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, former president of Himachal Pradesh Congress and contesting on party ticket from Nadaun seat, has gone to Delhi to meet the Congress high command. He will give feedback of the Himachal assembly elections to the top leaders. Along with this, he will also meet Mallikarjun Kharge, who has recently become the National President of Congress.
