Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said this on May 13. AAP wins in Jalandhar bypoll It was an unprecedented victory.
“The constituency has been a Congress stronghold and AAP has won it. last year the AAP government formed in Punjab And the first year is always difficult for a new government. The Jalandhar result has set the mood of entire Punjab and the people of Punjab have put their seal of approval on the AAP government in Punjab and believe that we are doing a good job in the state.
He further said that the people of Punjab have voted for the politics of work and defeated the politics of dynasty.
“In 2014, AAP had 4 seats in the Lok Sabha and in 2019, it was reduced to one seat and when Bhagwant Mann became the Chief Minister of Punjab, we had no seats. Today again AAP has secured a seat in the Lok Sabha. If God and people will, we will soon get majority in the House.
