Big worry for AAP who lost Sangrur
This seat is the biggest worry for the AAP, which lost the Lok Sabha seat to CM Bhagwant Mann in the Sangrur bypoll. He worked hard to win this seat. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann did many rallies and roadshows. The entire cabinet of the Punjab government stood firm in campaigning here.

Challenge to save stronghold for Congress
The Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat is a Congress stronghold. For the last 4 times, Congress is winning from here. In such a situation, there is a challenge before the Congress to save the fort. However, the Congress did not get any support from the central leaders here in the election campaign. The Congress high command was busy with the Karnataka assembly elections and no prominent leader came to Jalandhar to campaign.

Low turnout increased the tension of political parties
The low voting in the Jalandhar by-election has increased the tension of all the political parties along with the candidates. In Jalandhar only 54.5% of the voters reached the polling booths despite aggressive campaigning by all the parties. Since 1999, this seat has been a Congress bastion and during this time the voting percentage has been 60% or more. This time the turnout suddenly decreased by around 6%.

Highest AAP and lowest voting Congress MLA in the area
In terms of voting, the highest turnout (58%) took place in Kartarpur, the constituency of AAP MLA Balkar Singh. Shahkot Assembly Constituency came second with 57.4% voting. Congress MLA Hardev Singh Ladi is from here. The lowest turnout of 49.7% was recorded in Jalandhar Cantt. Here also Congress MLA Pargat Singh is there. Apart from this, 55.8% voting took place in Phillaur, 54.5% in Jalandhar North and 54% in Adampur. Congress has MLAs on all these three seats.

Good on 3 seats of AAP MLA, less voting on one
In Jalandhar, 58% voting was recorded in Kartarpur seat, 56.5% in Jalandhar West seat and 55.9% in Nakodar seat. All these three seats have AAP MLAs. In the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency, AAP has the fourth seat, Jalandhar Central, where 48.9% voting took place. In such a situation, there are definitely some good and some bad signs for AAP.
