Jammu and Kashmir Firing: Indian Army troops on Thursday started firing after suspicious movement was noticed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch sector. According to reports, gunshots were heard in the Khari Karmara area of ​​the sector at around 7.15 pm.

Meanwhile, officials claimed that there was no report of any injury or casualty. It is to be noted here that the army personnel also fired “illumination bombs” to ensure that there was no movement of terrorists from across the border amid inclement weather.

Four terrorists killed in Sidra area

Earlier on Wednesday, December 28, at least four terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Sidra area of ​​Jammu. The security forces intercepted a truck in which the terrorists were traveling at around 7.30 am.

As soon as the truck was stopped at the check post, the terrorists hiding in it started firing. Responding to the attack, the security personnel immediately fired and killed three terrorists on the spot.

“We noticed unusual movement of a truck and chased it. The truck was intercepted at Sidhra in Jammu, where the driver managed to escape. When the truck was searched, the terrorists hiding inside fired at the personnel. Retaliatory firing took place. ” Mukesh Singh had said.
