Atlee has finally announced the name of his son and it shares a special bond with Shah Rukh Khan.
Popular filmmaker Atlee finally revealed the name of his son with an adorable Instagram post.
Filmmaker Atlee, who brings his magnum opus ‘Jawaan’ with Shahrukh Khan Was blessed with a baby boy in the month of January. Atlee and his wife Krishna Priya released a joint statement on social media announcing that they had attained paternity. The couple shared the good news with a picture in which they can be seen holding a pair of the newborn’s shoes. ‘This is a boy’ was written on the picture. Now Atlee has finally revealed his son’s name and it shares a connection with King Khan.
On Sunday, Atlee shared a photograph of himself posing with his wife and son at a temple. He also surprised his fans by announcing the name of his son. His caption read, “Ya naam mir hai. So happy to reveal the name of our little angel. #mir #babyboy.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu was the first one to bless the couple. She commented, “Congratulations darling (with a red heart emoji)”. Several other prominent acquaintances of Attlee also dropped their congratulatory messages in the comments section.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan’s father’s name was Mir Taj Mohammad Khan. Not only this, SRK also runs a non-profit organization known as Meer Foundation. The organization works towards the safety and empowerment of women as well as promoting humility and gallantry among men.
Atlee and Krishna Priya married in 2014 and announced they were expecting their first child in December last year. Following this, the couple released a statement which read, “We are grateful for all the love and support you have showered on us over the years, we would like you to continue showing your love to our little one as well. Eagerly waiting to embark on this exciting adventure of bringing your little bundle of joy into this world with all your blessings.”
Meanwhile, Jawan is indeed a highly anticipated film featuring Shah Rukh Khan and an impressive, star-studded cast that promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats with its thrilling plot. And Shah Rukh Khan has finally broken his silence on it. Rumors were rife that the film starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi would release on June 2, but that is not the case. Taking to social media, the Badshah of Bollywood revealed that one of his much-anticipated films has actually been postponed to September 7.
