Jharkhand: CM Hemant Soren’s big announcement, ‘free electricity’ will be available for planting saplings at home

In order to promote environmental protection, the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has made a big announcement. Now people living in urban areas will get exemption in electricity bill for planting saplings at home or campus. Addressing the Van Mahotsav in Ranchi, CM Soren said, five minutes of free electricity per plant will be given to the families planting saplings in the campus of their homes. However, these plants should be fruitful and shady, only then the benefit of the scheme will be available.

Jigsaw machine will not be installed in forest areas
Apart from this, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also banned the installation of saw machines in forest areas in the state. Under this, the plant of sawmill cannot be set up within a radius of five kilometers of forest areas. Instructions have also been issued to remove the plants which are already installed.
