Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan said that there were about 15-20 Maoists in the group of Maoists who attacked. Before entering the forest, the Maoists also thrashed some laborers present there. He told that this incident was done by the Maoists in the matter of levy demand. After the incident, under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Chatra, Avinash Kumar, the security personnel started a campaign to search the accused of the incident.
