Following the violence, the administration imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC in the area on Sunday evening. He said two shops and an auto rickshaw were torched by the warring groups and police fired tear gas to disperse the crowd. Adequate police force has been deployed to maintain law and order in Shastri Nagar under Kadma police station area of ​​Jharkhand.

Police said that there is tension in the area since Saturday night when members of a local organization noticed that a piece of meat was pasted on the flag of Ram Navami, so many such organizations protested and asked the police to arrest the culprits within 24 hours. demanded. The situation turned violent on Sunday evening when a shop was torched and brick-pelting started from both sides.

The mob also set an autorickshaw on fire, prompting the police to fire tear gas shells. DIG (Kolhan) Ajay Linda said local miscreants torched shops and auto rickshaws. The Deputy Commissioner said that strict action would be initiated against those involved in anti-social activities to disturb communal harmony.
