Dharmendra Pradhan criticized the state’s BJD government over the killing of 15-year-old boy and minister Naba Das in Jharsuguda.

The Union minister was referring to the alleged abduction and murder of Class 10 student Samarth Agarwal in Jharsuguda district for a ransom of Rs 50 lakh in March. The victim’s half-burnt body was recovered from Bargarh district.

In the evening, the Union Minister held a roadshow in Jharsuguda city and appealed for votes for BJP candidate Tankadhar Tripathi. BJP State President Manmohan Samal and Sunagadh MP Jual Oram were also present.

He expressed shock at the opposition’s treatment of Deepali, who lost her father recently, and compared it to the ill-treatment meted out to the BJD candidate in the Padampur bypoll. Naveen said that he is saddened by the behavior of the opposition towards Deepali.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Patnaik campaigned in Amilipalli area of ​​Jharsuguda and urged voters to support BJD candidate Deepali Das.
