Jug Jugg Jeeyo Box Office: Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor And the Neetu Kapoor starrer released late last month and has been entertaining the audience since then. Even though the film has entered its third week, the love it is receiving is still helping it to grow in terms of collections. Helmed by Raj Mehta, the family entertainer is yet to enter the 100 crore club in India but as it is said that slow and steady wins the race, the same can be expected in the days to come. The film’s growth slowed down not only due to the release of Hollywood film Thor – Love and Thunder but also Vidyut Jammwal’s much awaited ‘Khuda Hafiz 2’. The collection declined during weekdays but picked up during weekends.
A report in BoxofficeIndia said, “The film continues to do better numbers on Saturdays and Sundays as families in big cities come out on weekends. The film collected a net collection of 1.60 crores on Saturday and took the total to over 71 crores. There will be Eid on Sunday, but the film now has a limited presence in large numbers, so it remains to be seen whether the film gets an extra boost. Even if it is not a weekend, around 4.50 crores should go to the net, Which is a fair. Third weekend.”
On July 9, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the archive and tweeted, “#JugJuggJeeyo is rock-steady despite two new films + underperformance… [third] Saturn and Sun… [Week 3] Venus 92 lakhs. Total: ₹ 74.63 crore. #IndiaBiz.”
Coming to Khuda Hafiz 2, the report said, “Khuda Hafiz 2 also saw a jump in its second day as the collections grew by around 40-45%. Still the collections remain low and it is to be hoped that The collection on Monday is more than on Friday. If the film is to survive.”
According to the initial trade estimates, the total box office collection of Khuda Hafiz 2 on Day 3 stood at Rs 5 crore. Its single day collection on July 10 was Rs 2.20 crore.
Talking about the film, it is a sequel to Vidyut Jammwal’s 2020 film Khuda Hafiz. Written and directed by Farooq Kabir, the film released on Disney+Hotstar. It is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh and Ram Mirchandani under the banner of Panorama Studios.
