K Annamalai: MK Stalin should introspect before blaming TN Governor | Chennai News – Times of India

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin One should look in the mirror and introspect before blaming GovernorState BJP President said K Annamalai on Monday.
Responding to Stalin’s letter to the President of India against the Governor, Annamalai said that Stalin had found fault with the Governor for non-existent problems.
He told reporters in Coimbatore that Stalin’s letter was a result of his fear about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Annamalai said, “The letter shows the fear and helplessness of Stalin.”
Instead of blaming the Governor for everything, Stalin should complete a myriad of tasks like fulfilling pending poll promises, he said.
“There are many issues troubling Tamil Nadu. CM should solve problems like illegal liquor and increasing crime against women. Many election promises are yet to be fulfilled. Annamalai said, “Instead of unnecessarily provoking the Governor, these issues should be taken care of.”
Annamalai said though he said that the Governor should not talk on politics, but one should not expect him to remain silent on every issue. “They have every right to talk about culture and tradition,” he said.
“On the alleged child marriages conducted by initiates of the Chidambaram temple, the governor talked about the two finger test conducted by government doctors, which was confirmed by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights,” he said.
Referring to Stalin’s letter to the governor justifying his decision to keep V Senthil Balaji as minister without portfolio, Annamalai said Stalin was trying to cover up his partymen’s lapses by pinning the blame on the governor . This cannot be accepted,” he said.
