Chennai: The Madras High Court ordered on monday postmortem again On July 13, a class 12 girl was found dead in a private school in Kallakurichi.
Justice N Satheesh Kumar also directed the Tamil Nadu government to form a special team to probe the incident and identify and arrest those responsible for the July 17 violence in which the school was ransacked.

When the petition came up for hearing, Justice Satish Kumar expressed dismay at the July 17 violence and wondered who gave the mob a license to burn the transfer certificates of the school’s 4,500 students.
“The police was not in control of anyone. They should enforce the law. This court will oversee the investigation,” the judge said.
He said that this violence does not appear to be mere provocation but an organized crime.
“Identify all the protesters and compensate the damage caused by the violence,” the court said.
The court, while passing an interim order, clarified that whenever death occurs in educational institutions in future, the investigation should be done by the CB-CID and the postmortem examination should be done by a team of three doctors.
The judge wanted the court to take strict action against those conducting parallel tests on social media and adjourned the hearing till July 29.
