Kanpur: Lashing out at the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP), the main allies of INDIA bloc, deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak said, “We don’t have competition with any political party. There is complete silence in the opposition camp as it has completely derailed”.
Sharing details of Sankalp Patra of Bharatiya Janata Party with media persons at a hotel in Parade area of the city on Monday, Pathak attacked the INDIA alliance saying that all the corrupt have gathered at one place.“The people, who were in the UPA-1 and UPA-2 have been introduced in the INDIA alliance through new packaging,” he said and added, “The people have already rejected them, especially the goons of the Samajwadi Party, who used to forcibly grab shops and plots.”
“The BJP has prepared the 76-page Sankalp Patra only after incorporating suggestions of the public through which we are going to take a huge leap towards developed India”, he said. The Sankalp Patra has been prepared on four pillars, he said and added, “We have emphasized on dignity of life, quality of life and quantity of opportunity. Care has been taken to ensure that the food plates of the poor are cheap, and they get free ration and free medical treatment under the Ayushman scheme.” The deputy CM said that they would promote global tourism. Tourists from all over the country and the world are coming to Kashi. “On Dec 31, more visitors reached Kashi than Goa. The number of devotees is continuously increasing in Ayodhya also,” he said.
“Kanpur will be developed as a world class city. Our track record is good. People trust BJP. We do what we say and also do what we do not say. Along with 80 seats of UP, we are also winning the Kanpur Nagar seat with a huge margin. No candidate is going to compete with BJP in the Kanpur seat,” he added.
