Amidst laughter and camaraderie, Kapil expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for welcoming him into the Crew family.
The highly anticipated comedy heist film Crew has hit theaters today, boasting a star-studded cast that includes powerhouse actresses Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon in leading roles. Joining them are the versatile Diljit Dosanjh and the comedic maestro Kapil Sharma who will be seen in the pivotal roles.
Kapil Sharma, renowned for his quick wit and humor, recently took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share a delightful video from the film’s wrap-up party. Amidst laughter and camaraderie, Kapil expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for welcoming him into the “Crew” family. With his trademark humor, Kapil jokes about how he’ll miss the short time they spent together, humorously saying, “I will miss this two-days long journey. Out of which, three hours were spent doing nothing.” His fake crying and witty remarks elicit uproarious laughter from everyone present.
As the celebration continues, Rhea Kapoor asks Kapil to cut another cake. Initially hesitant about indulging, Kapil eventually agrees, quipping, “Jitna role, utna hi chota cake (As small as my role)” as he cuts the smaller cake provided. This witty remark leaves everyone in splits
In his heartfelt caption accompanying the video, Kapil extended his warm thanks to Rhea, Anil Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor for the opportunity to be a part of “Crew.” Despite the brevity of his role, Kapil expressed his joy at sharing the screen with his longtime favorite, Tabu. He concluded with heartfelt wishes for the film’s success, sending his love and best regards to the entire team of the film.
Kapil wrote, “Thank you so much Anil Kapoor sir, Rhea Kapoor Ektaa R Kapoor for making me a part of the crew though it was a small journey but memorable, as I am sharing screen with my all time favorite Tabu ji, my love n best wishes to the whole crew of the crew releasing tomorrow.” The video was shared on March 28, 2024.

Alongside Kapil Sharma as the host, the show will feature an ensemble cast comprising Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajeev Thakur, Kiku Sharda, and Archana Puran Singh.
