Karan Johar: THIS movie is common between Sadguru and filmmaker Karan Johar | – Times of India

Back in 2017 spiritual leader Sadguru Jaggi Vasu and Karan Johar shared a stage at an event, where the two were involved in a candid conversation. They discussed several topics, but one thing that caught everyone’s attention was related to a movie that the filmmaker and the spiritual leader had in common.
Karan Johar who is famous for his rapid-fire segments had some interesting questions planned for Sadguru. In a very polite demeanor when he quizzes Sadguru about his favourite film, the spiritual guru shared about a film, which is considered a classic among cinephiles. The movie is the 1953 released ‘Roman Holiday.’

“One movie that I thoroughly enjoyed at that time because of the way things happened on that day, many life situations fell together, was Roman Holiday,” said Sadguru.
Now what shocked and brought joy to Karan Johar was the coincidence that ‘Roman Holiday’ was also the first movie that he saw in a theatre with his mother. Expressing his contentment Johar said, “I’m glad we have something in common.”

For the unversed, ‘Roman Holiday’ is an American romantic comedy that tells the tale of a princess who escapes the tall walls of her palace to explore life on her own. In her journey, she comes across a news reporter in Rome, and from their begins a love story.
