Barnala: Hours before the roadshow to be taken out by Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the slogan of Khalistan and the 26 January 2023 referendum was found painted at the gate of Kali Devi temple in Sangrur late on Sunday night.
Sources said the temple authorities were aware of the slogans being raised at the temple gate, they informed the police and the slogans were wiped out by painting the graffiti.

Earlier last week, slogans of Khalistan were written outside the session house in the judicial court complex of Faridkot. On August 14, 2020, the saffron flag written Khalistan was unfurled at the Moga Deputy Commissioner’s office.
When contacted, Sangrur Senior Superintendent of Police Mandeep Singh Sidhu said that a case is being registered against the people behind this act.
