Paramjit Singh Panjwad, chief of the terrorist organization Khalistan Commando Force (KCF), was killed in Lahore on Saturday. He entered the Sunflower Society of Jauhar town and was shot dead. Panjwad died on the spot. He was taking refuge in Pakistan since 1990. He was living here in the name of Malik Sardar Singh.
According to the information, two people who came on the bike at 6 am on Saturday attacked and fled.
Panjvad’s name in the list of terrorists of the Center
Paramjeet Singh Panjwad was a resident of Panjwad village under Jhabbal police station of Tarn Taran district in Punjab. The Union Home Ministry had released a list of nine terrorists in the year 2020, in which Paramjit Singh Panjwad’s name was at number eight. Apart from him, the name of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) Chief Wadhawa Singh Babbar was also there in this list, who is a resident of Dasuwal village in Tarn Taran itself. Panjwad had been taking refuge in Pakistan since the 90s.

Used to send drugs and weapons to Punjab
Paramjeet Singh Panjwad was involved in drug and arms smuggling from Pakistan to Punjab through drones. He kept the Khalistan Commando Force alive with the money he got from this. Paramjeet had joined the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) in 1986 along with his cousin Labh Singh during militancy in Punjab. Prior to that, he used to work in Cooperative Bank in Sohal, Punjab.
After the elimination of Labh Singh at the hands of Indian security forces, Panjwad took over the command of the KCF in the 1990s and fled to Pakistan. He got asylum in Pakistan. He was at number eight in the list of most wanted terrorists. The Pakistani government has been denying that Panjwad is with them. Paramjit’s wife and children live in Germany.
Shaurya Chakra winner Balwinder Singh Sandhu was murdered in 2020
In October 2020, Shaurya Chakra winner Balwinder Singh Sandhu was murdered in Tarn Taran, Punjab. Paramjit Singh Panjwad was behind this. Balwinder Singh Sandhu fought against terrorism in Punjab for which he was awarded Shaurya Chakra. Panjvad had been plotting the murder of Balwinder Singh since that time.
Not even the latest photo in police records
Punjab Police does not have any latest photo of Paramjit Singh sitting in Pakistan for 33 years while his name is in the list of most wanted terrorists. The police have only his 35-year-old photographs which were recovered from his house.
Got the bomb blast done in Chandigarh in 1999
On June 30, 1999, Paramjit Singh Panjwad, Chief of the Khalistan Commando Force, got a bomb blasted near the passport office in Chandigarh. Four people were injured in this blast, while many vehicles were damaged. A bomb was kept in the trunk of the scooter for the blast. The scooter had the number plate of Panipat (Haryana). The police then arrested the scooter owner Sher Singh from Panipat.
Panjwad was giving air to Khalistan movement again
Paramjit Singh Panjwad, along with Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) chief Wadhawa Singh and Lakhbir Singh Rode, head of the Indian Sikh Youth Federation, present in Pakistan, was once again fueling the Khalistan movement and terrorism in Punjab. For this, weapons and drugs are continuously being sent to Punjab. Counter intelligence teams from Union Home Ministry to IB and Punjab Police are engaged in breaking their network.
Karanveer Singh, a resident of Daroli Kalan in Punjab and well-known gangster Lucky Patiala are also associated with BKI. Among them, Karanveer Singh is present in Pakistan along with Wadhawa Singh while Lucky Patial has reached Armenia. Patial’s name figured in the murder of Vicky Middhukheda, a close aide of gangster Lawrence, and Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangalambiyan in Punjab.
