‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ box office collection Day 6: Salman Khan starrer sees further decline as Eid period ends – Times of India

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (KBKJ), which released on Friday, April 21, a day before Eid, has done decent business over the weekend. The numbers reached Rs 20 crore on Saturday and Sunday. The film performed well on Monday as well but saw a major drop in Tuesday and Wednesday collections.
On the sixth day, Wednesday, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ saw a drop of around 30 per cent. According to trade website boxofficeindia.com, the collections dropped to Rs 4.25 crore. Some single screens and Muslim centers in UP are still performing very well, however, they have not been able to add massively to the total collection. While the film is expected to witness a drop in the coming days as well, the coming Friday as well as the second weekend figures will be crucial.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Review
At the moment, the film is getting the same feel as Tu Jhootha Main Makkar, as both fare average. Adding this Wednesday’s collection, KBKJ’s total till date stands at Rs 82.25 crore. This means that the film may get an average success status as it is still struggling to reach 100 crores. Even if it persists for the next two-three weeks, it will be called average.

According to the trade, it is quite disappointing as the Salman starrer which released on Eid has not done well. While the upcoming weekend collections will play a crucial role in determining the fate of the film, Friday could see the release of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ which is expected to offer a competition especially in the southern regions.
