Kotak Bank’s quarterly profit jumps 26% – Times of India

Mumbai: Kotak Mahindra Bank reported net Benefit 3,496 crore for the quarter ended march 2,767 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, an increase of 26%.
The full-year (2022-23) profit was pegged at ₹10,939 crore, up 28% from the previous year’s ₹8,573 crore. Kotak declared a dividend of Rs 1.50 per equity share with a face value of Rs 5.
Announcing the results, CEO Uday Kotak said Edge Was “hungry” for acquisitions and would look at all inorganic opportunities in the financial sector, including banking.
Responding to a question whether the bank has interest in IDBI Bank, Kotak said: “It is not appropriate for me to talk in terms of any specific bank. I think our template is very clear. If we see value in customers and believe that we are getting attractive customers at reasonable prices. We will look at all acquisition opportunities.”
