Kriti Sanon’s Date Issues in Her First Film: Exclusive Interview | – Times of India

The year 2014 was a life changing one for actress Kriti Sanon, as it was this year she began her career in the movies. She made her debut opposite Mahesh Babu in a Telugu film 1:Nenokkadine and a few months later, she made her Hindi film debut with Tiger Shroff in Heropanti. Now, not many are aware that within her first year in the business, she had a date issue.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actress confirmed the news and mentioned that shooting for both the films was going on simultaneously. Mahesh Babu’s film released in January and Heropanti released in May.
With this, the actress has also marked a decade of her career, she revealed that whatever she knows about the craft, she learnt it on the job. She said, “I have learnt everything on the job, I didn’t know what a mark was …what was camera placing … I would stand and would be told to look this way as your face is not visible. So I literally had to take baby steps.”
“Also earlier, I used to set a process of ‘this works for me and this doesn’t work’, but slowly I became much more open as a person, even in my thinking … like my black and white was very strong. In our films, you’re playing a character …you are questioning morality, then someone throws in a new perspective .. so, I became much more open like like this is ok and this is also ok, ” she added.
