An employee of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) was arrested by the city police on Saturday for assaulting a doctor on duty at a private clinic. The arrested person has been identified as Selvaraj s/o Samraj (42) of Samaniwas Estate Pamkode.
The accused reached the doctor’s clinic and asked for a medical certificate to avoid duty. However, the doctor refused to give the medical certificate. Enraged by this, the accused tried to assault the doctor. Police said another person was also attacked at the clinic.
