Kunal Kemmu said that he has a split system with Shahid Kapoor and Ishan Khatter.
Shahid Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, and Kunal Kemmu share a close friendship and often take international trips together. They also share glimpses of these trips on social media. Recently, Kunal was asked if they split their bills and his fans found his answer very relatable.
In an interview with MensXP, Kunal said, “Yes it gets split. Because our tour is multiple days, there is a split system.” The actor added, “Koi bole na bole, andar chalta rehta hai. I think woh hardwired hai aur woh hisbaab lagne lagta hai. (Even if someone doesn’t say anything, it’s going on in everyone’s mind. It is hardwired that we will start figuring out the expenses.) ”
Earlier, in an interview with Mashable India, Kunal had opened up about the cost of these trips. He said, “It costs a lot but not like you would have to sell your kidney. So if you can buy an iPhone, you can do these trips.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut film, Madgaon Express, has been received very positively at the box office. Even though it faced tough competition from Randeep Hooda’s Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, the film has managed to stay strong at the box office.
Directed by Kunal Kemmu, Madgaon Express revolves around the story of three friends who go on a vacation to Goa, only to find their epic vacation plan turns into a nightmare. Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam are also said to be part of the comedy-drama. The film has got positive reviews from critics and is being loved by the audience. Several social media users are spreading a good word of mouth for the film.
Released on March 22, Madgaon Express stars Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary in the lead. This is the first time that the trio is working together.
