Makeup mogul Kylie Jenner has been accused of doing some damage control as she went shopping at Target following backlash on her private jet. As aceshowbiz.com reports, the 24-year-old took her daughter Stormi Webster as well as nieces, Chicago, daughter of Kim Kardashian and True, Khloe Kardashian, on a Target run. She took to TikTok to share a video of the “surprise” trip. The clip begins with three little girls riding in a shopping cart when Kylie asks them: “Where are we girls going?”

Before entering the store the girls exclaimed in one voice, “Lakshya!” As Kylie walked through the home section, she asked: “You guys don’t want a bowl?” To which the three girls immediately reply, “No!” While Chicago and Stormi waited to go home with their new toys, the girls showed more interest in certain items in the toy section.

“Surprise Target trip with my girls,” Kylie captioned the cute clip, which looked flawless. However, many quickly reported that Kylie may have a hidden agenda with the trip, as many slammed Kylie’s attempt at “cosplaying a middle class”.

One person responded to the video, “Did you hire Target for this real question,” while another claimed the Kylie Cosmetics founder was “playing a normal life simulator”.

A third user similarly claimed that Kylie was “trying to appeal to us farmers”, and another simply wrote, “What’s under damage control?”

The video came after Kylie boasted about her and boyfriend Travis Scott’s (II) private jets. When she posted a picture of herself and the rapper standing in front of their private jet, it was revealed that she would be taking her private jet for short flights.

Estimated flight time was only three minutes in contrast to the road trip which took only 40 minutes. Page later clarified that the total flight time was 17 minutes. Flight records also show that one’s mother takes regular flights, each of less than 15 minutes.

The discovery led many Twitter users to label Kylie “a full-time climate criminal”.

One person posted on the microblogging app, “Kylie Jenner is out here what color private jet she wants to take today, meanwhile I have to chug my iced coffee before my straw becomes papier mache???? Explain.”

Another critic wrote, “Can’t wait to see Kylie Jenner’s photos of environmental awareness on her stories as if she didn’t do more harm to the environment alone than most of us with her 3-minute flights has been.”

A third added, “Famous people are so out of touch with reality like she didn’t think she’d get a response for it — @KylieJenner read room. Our planet is dying, climate change is a real issue.”
