ULHASNAGAR: A 47-year-old labourer died after a portion of a balcony of a flat collapsed during internal repairing work in Ulhasnagar on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident took place at around 1pm at Shiv Palace building situated near Sadhubela College.
The deceased was identified as Sairuddin, a resident of Bihar.
The fire brigade team found that internal repairing work was going on inside the first-floor flat owned by one Suresh Chawla.
The police said they have registered an accidental death report.
