Last day of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab: Rahul Gandhi will hold public rally in Pathankot, will leave for Jammu and Kashmir in the evening

Today will be the last day of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab. The yatra went to Himachal on Wednesday. From there again it has entered Punjab at night itself. The yatra did night stay at Pathankot’s Shah Colony. Today at 1 pm, Rahul Gandhi is going to address a public meeting at Sarna in Pathankot. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will also be present here.

After the public meeting, this yatra will enter Jammu and Kashmir. where the flag ceremony will take place. Where the leaders of Punjab will hand over the flag to the Congress leaders of Jammu and Kashmir.

In Jammu and Kashmir, this yatra will go till Rakh Zafar. Jammu-Kashmir is the last stop of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and will end on January 30, the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Lost MP while traveling in Punjab
The Bharat Jodo Yatra had entered Punjab on January 11, but a day before entering Punjab, on November 10, Rahul Gandhi suddenly came to the Golden Temple. The yatra was canceled on January 13 due to Lohri.

Jalandhar MP Santokh Chowdhary passed away during the yatra on 14th January. After which the journey was canceled for 24 hours.

MP Santokh was walking with Rahul Gandhi when he suffered a heart attack.

Security lapse happened twice in Hoshiarpur
There was a lapse in the security of Rahul Gandhi twice during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Hoshiarpur. These incidents happened within just 35 minutes. First a young man forcibly hugged Rahul Gandhi. In another, a young man with a saffron cloth tied on his head broke the security cordon and went close to Rahul Gandhi. Although both were caught in time.

Rahul breaks security cordon for students in Himachal, security stops
Seeing the enthusiasm of the students, Rahul Gandhi broke the security cordon while walking in Kangra. This incident took place when, after lunch break, while leaving Indoriya village, he reached near Kshatriya College on the way. There the students entered the security cordon to meet him.

Seeing this, Rahul Gandhi also went ahead breaking the security layer. The students requested him to come inside the college. Rahul also came out of his security layer after listening to the students, but the security personnel stopped him. After this he went ahead with his security.

Yatra will enter Jammu today
Rahul Gandhi will enter Jammu and Kashmir today by taking Bharat Jodo Yatra. Farooq Abdullah, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, CPM leader Yusuf Tarigami and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut will welcome him here in Lakhanpur.

The yatra will culminate with a massive rally on January 30 in Srinagar. The yatra will go from Lakhanpur in Jammu to the Kashmir valley via Kathua, Hiranagar, Banihal tunnel.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will end in Srinagar, but the country’s security agencies have issued an alert before entering Jammu and Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the Valley has left agencies worried. Apart from the Kashmir Police, CRPF has also been appointed under his security.
