Kolkata: It was a sad time for the family members of a young housewife as she left the Kolkata airport, switched off her mobile and went to her native place in Kolkata after a rift with her husband. Burdwan Leaving husband, daughter and mother-in-law stranded at the airport on Friday evening.
The situation was that the husband kept searching for the woman throughout Friday night and Saturday morning, after which he lodged a complaint with the police and sent WhatsApp messages to various groups with her photos and details. It was only around noon on Saturday that they finally learned that the woman was staying with a relative in Burdwan, and took an evening bus to reach there.
“The situation was scary and we had no information about him for almost the whole day. But thankfully, I was able to connect with her and rushed to Burdwan to pick her up,” said the woman’s husband.
When asked the reason for her sudden disappearance, the husband said that she was under a lot of stress and he did not want to bother her with questions at this time. “She is very tense. I would rather she calm down before asking any questions. I am relieved that she is safe.
