A laborer has died due to lightning while working in a coal mine in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The scene of lightning striking the laborer has been captured in the CCTV camera. The deceased was working in the Majri coal mine of Western Coalfield Limited in Bhadravati taluka when the accident happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Overburden transporter was deceased in the mine area
The deceased has been identified as Babu Dhankumar Yadav (36), a resident of Narayanpur in Bhojpur district of Bihar. He was an overburden transporter in Naglon mine area in Majri area of ​​Waikoli. They were passing through Naglon mine at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon. During this, lightning struck him, due to which he died on the spot. The police have registered a case and sent the body for postmortem.

Three died due to lightning in Gadchiroli
In Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district too, a couple and their two children were killed by lightning last Monday. The victims were passing by on a motorcycle when they were struck by lightning near Desaiganj area, an official of the District Disaster Management Office said. Bharat Rajgade (32), his wife Ankita (30) and their two children died on the spot, he said, adding that the victims were residents of Amagaon in Desaiganj taluka.
