Referring to the roles and responsibilities of the officers and staff of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Birla said that the staff of the Lok Sabha Secretariat have an important responsibility to ensure that the Members of Parliament are able to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities. their preferred language.
Birla appreciated the fact that the linguistic diversity enshrined in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution is regularly maintained in the Lok Sabha through the efforts of the staff of the Secretariat.
Referring to the three principles of “Swabhasha, Swadeshi and Swaraj” propounded by Mahatma Gandhi, Birla said India’s long freedom struggle had established our indigenous languages, especially Hindi, as the anchor of our collective struggle for freedom. did.
Referring to the socio-economic changes witnessed in the country since independence and the contribution of Hindi in nation building, Birla said that in Amrit Kaal, India is moving towards self-reliance with dedicated efforts towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
This year Hindi Pakhwada saw the participation of more than 700 participants in 11 competitions. A total of 79 participants won prizes.
