Party leaders said the BJP will launch a 12-day nationwide campaign on February 1 to make people aware of the “pro-people” measures to be announced in the Union Budget.
He said the campaign would be coordinated by senior BJP leader Sushil Modi and would end on February 12.
He said BJP president JP Nadda has constituted a nine-member task force, including party general secretary Sunil Bansal and heads of its farmers’ and youth wings, to hold discussions, press conferences or seminars on the Union Budget in all districts of the country.
A day after the Union Budget is presented in Parliament, chief ministers of all BJP-ruled states will hold press conferences as part of the campaign, party leaders said, while in states where the party is not in power, BJP unit chiefs and leaders of opposition in assemblies will Press Conference.- PTI
