New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party ,Ram Vilas) Leader chirag paswan Has decided to join the NDA, BJP chief JP Nadda announced on Monday.

Nadda, who met Paswan in Delhi, said, “I welcome him to the NDA family.”
The development came a day before the ruling National Democratic Alliance meeting in Delhi.
Earlier in the day, Paswan had met Home Minister Amit Shah and described their discussions on issues related to the alliance with the BJP as “positive”.
The meeting was seen as part of the exercise to finalize his party’s share of Lok Sabha seats in Bihar for the 2024 general elections.

The undivided LJP, led by late veteran Dalit leader and Chirag’s father Ram Vilas Paswan, contested six Lok Sabha seats in 2019 and also got one Rajya Sabha seat under the seat-sharing agreement with the BJP.

The youth leader wants the BJP to stick to the same system despite the split in his party, while another faction, the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, led by his uncle and Union minister Pashupati Kumar Paras, is already part of the ruling coalition .
