Lok Sabha Secretariat asks Rahul Gandhi to reply by February 15 to notice on remarks on PM Modi

The BJP has alleged that Gandhi’s comments were baseless and called the allegation “outrageous, unparliamentary and derogatory”.

Lok Sabha secretariat has asked the Congress MP Rahul Gandhi Reply by 15th Feb to notice given by BJP members regarding their remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at home.

In a letter to Gandhi dated February 10, the secretariat has asked him to submit his reply on the breach of privilege notice against him by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi by February 15 for the Lok Sabha Speaker’s consideration. ,

Following Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha on the ‘Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address’ on Tuesday, in which he had commented on the Hindenburg-Adani issue, Dubey and Joshi had issued a notice against him.

Both the BJP leaders, in their notices to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, alleged that Gandhi’s remarks were baseless and made “outrageous, unparliamentary and defamatory” allegations.

Several remarks made by Gandhi were thrown out of the House by the Speaker.
