Rathore said that 30 to 40 residents of the village suffering from the disease were admitted to a rural hospital in Chunni and their condition is stable.
He said that teams have been sent to Koylari and Pachdongri to carry out the drinking water chlorination work and to conduct the survey. In the past, Melghat, a tribal-dominated area in eastern Maharashtra, was in the news for reporting a large number of cases of child malnutrition.
