Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt were promoting 1920: Horrors of the Heart, directed by Vikram’s daughter Krishna Bhatt.

The Kerala story has been at the center of a controversy after a controversial claim on love jihad and Islamic radicalization of Hindu women. The film has divided people into two camps, one supporting it and the other calling it propaganda. Several celebrities like Anurag Kashyap and Kamal Haasan have condemned the Kerala story while others like Vivek Agnihotri have praised it.

That’s why journalists are not leaving the chance to know the reaction of celebrities regarding the film. Some even tried to ask for a reaction from Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt regarding the film but they chose the wrong time to do so.

Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt have been attending various events to promote their upcoming film 1920: Horrors of the Heart, directed by Vikram Bhatt’s daughter Krishna Bhatt. During a promotional event, a reporter asked him his opinion on The Kerala Story. However, both Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt didn’t respond to the question and shrugged it off. Vikram Bhatt said that he will not promote another film during the promotion of his film.

When the reporter tried to press further, Mahesh Bhatt came up with a reply that left everyone in splits. He said, “Look it is your right to ask questions and similarly it is our right to choose not to answer questions.” Don’t drag other issues into promotional events only on the promotion of the film.

1920: Horrors of the Heart starring Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gaur and Rahul Dev. It is the fifth installment of the 1920 series and is scheduled to release on June 23.
