Malabar Hill Reservoir Check on Dec 7: Water Supply to be Hit Mumbai | Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: The BMC has announced a temporary disruption in water supply to parts of the city due to the upcoming inspection of the Malabar Hill reservoir on Thursday, December 7.
The BMC said an expert committee comprising IIT Bombay professors, local experts, a few citizens and municipal officials are slated to conduct an internal inspection of the reservoir.In order to facilitate it, the reservoir compartment 2 will be emptied, affecting water supply in parts of the city. The BMC administration has issued an appeal to residents of wards A (Cuffe Parade, Marine Drive, Fort), C (Kalbadevi, Bhuleshwar), D (Pedder Road, Malabar Hill), G North (Dadar) and G South (Worli) divisions to use water judiciously during this period.
