Man Duping Truck Owners Arrested | Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: The crime branch sleuths arrested a man who allegedly duped truck owners and made money by selling their vehicles. The police said that the accused Ajay Kahar, a resident of Waghodia Road, was wanted in three different offences registered across the state.
According to the police, Kahar used to contact truck owners plying their vehicles on the highways.Owners buy trucks on loan so Kahar used to offer to buy their trucks and also promise to pay the outstanding loan amount. Once he got possession of their trucks, he used to sell them off to some other person and didn’t pay the loan. Kahar had offences registered against him in Kheda, Gandhinagar and Bharuch. The police said that Kahar has cases of cheating registered against him in Patan, Himmatnagar, Aravalli, Rajasthan apart from an assault case in Vadodara and a liquor case in Valsad. tnn
