RAMGARH: A man was stabbed to death by a co-worker at a steel plant in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand during the Holi celebration, police said on Tuesday.
According to police, a co-worker stabbed a man to death at a private steel factory in Hematpur village, located 65 km from Ranchi.
Haripad Tuddu, officer in charge of Gola police station, stated that during the festive event, Bipat Bharti, a worker from Jharkhand, was critically injured by Manjay Kumar, a co-worker from Bihar, following a dispute.
The victim, hailing from Chatra district, succumbed to the attack on Monday night.
“Bharti was rushed to Sadar Hospital in Ramgarh where doctors declared him brought dead. The attacker has been arrested,” he added.
