Prime Minister Narendra Modi Said on Sunday that his radio program is the expression of the thoughts and feelings of millions of Indians.

“Today is the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat. I have thousands of letters, millions of messages. I have tried to visit as many of them as possible. Many times I got emotional after reading your letters, got carried away with emotions and then caught myself. You have congratulated me on the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, but all the listeners, our countrymen deserve congratulations. Mann Ki Baat is the expression of the thoughts and feelings of millions of Indians: PM Modi

On this occasion, Dixit said, ‘He (PM Modi) is taking time to understand the problems of the common people. It’s amazing. He is reaching out to people in small towns and villages who are doing such good work and people are not aware of it. So he is bringing such people in front of all citizens and they are getting global recognition which is amazing. I am sure it is going to inspire a lot of youngsters.”

“Modi ji wanted to stay connected with the people, I think that is a sign of a great leader. All the greatest leaders in history, be it kings or prime ministers, have always been associated with the people. There couldn’t be a deeper connection than being able to speak your mind and listen to people, get your point across. I feel very fortunate to have been invited here. It is a privilege to be here,” Kapoor said.

Director and Producer Rohit Shetty said, ‘I feel inspired, nothing is impossible if a leader can show us the right path. When I was watching, I thought how lucky we are to have such an inspiring leader that people listen to, get inspired by, which is very rare.”

Meanwhile, singer Raageshwari, who attended an event in London, UK, said, “I think it’s fantastic. Getting up at 4 in the morning, getting ready and coming here – absolutely rewarding… I think it’s not just Connects the country but also inspires the youth…’

Launched on 3 October 2014, the program has become a key pillar of the government’s citizen-outreach programme, addressing multiple social groups such as women, youth and farmers, and has promoted community action.
