Manoj Bajpayee, Arshad Warsi, Hansal Mehta, Vivek Agnihotri: Celebs mourn the demise of actor Rituraj Singh | – Times of India

Television actor Rituraj Singh who has also been a part of many movies and web-shows passed away on Monday night due to cardiac arrest, at the age of 59. His friend, actor Amit Bahl confirmed the news. Rituraj had started his career with theatre in Delhi and since then, he was friends with Shah Rukh Khan as they were in the same theatre group. In his long career which then started with television shows like ‘Banegi Apni Baat’, he’s shared a close bond with many industry people.Many celebs have penned notes for Rituraj and mourned his demise.
Manoj Bajpayee wrote, “How can this be true Ritz? Why? Such a devastating news to wake up to ! Rest in peace Rituraj my friend! ॐ शान्ति 🙏”

Director Hansal Mehta expressed, “Rituraj!!!! Can’t believe this! I directed him briefly in a daily soap called K Street Pali Hill but in the process we became good friends. Been a while since we hung out but I have such fond memories. Untapped actor and a warm human. Gone suddenly and too early.”

Director Vivek Agnihotri said, “Rituraj, my friend, how did you make it even possible? “Kitna baaki tha…” Artists never die.

Arshad Warsi expressed, “I am so saddened to know that Ritu Raj passed away. We lived in the same building, he was a part of my first film as a producer. Lost a friend and a great actor… will miss you brother…”

Others celebs like Sonu Sood, Kavita Kaushik among others also mourned his loss. Varun Dhawan also shared a photo along with a heartfelt note for the actor.
