Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah says he is not interested in watching a film like The Kerala Story. He says that films like Rush and Rumor flopped but The Kerala Story became a super hit. Now Bhojpuri star and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has retaliated on Naseeruddin’s statement.

Manoj has said that there is a flaw in the intention of Naseeruddin Shah. Naseeruddin Shah is a good actor, but his thinking is not right. Manoj said that if Naseeruddin has a problem with The Kerala Story, he can go to court against it. Naseeruddin had said in the past that nowadays some films are being used for propaganda and propaganda.

He also said that in today’s time it has become fashionable to hate Muslims. Hatred towards Muslims is being cleverly instilled in people. The actor said that although it is a secular democratic country, religion is talked about everywhere. The Election Commission also does not say anything to those leaders who ask for votes in the name of religion.

The Kerala Story is a film based on facts. FIRs of the victims are also registered in this case. If Naseeruddin Shah has guts, he can go to court against this film. They cannot belittle films like The Kerala Story and The Kashmir Files. It is easy to talk sitting at home. The things he has said are not correct as an Indian.

During the promotion of the first season, Naseeruddin Shah objected to the Mughals being described as invaders and destroyers. He said, ‘The Mughals did not come here to loot. They came here to make it their home and that is what they did. How can his contribution be forgotten.

Why do we look at the Red Fort with so much respect when it was built by a Mughal only. We should not glorify the Mughals but there is no need to defame them either.
