Karisma Kapoor is celebrating the success of her sister Kareena Kapoor’s latest film Crew. On Monday night, the actress took to her Instagram handle to share a series of photos from their private celebration at Kareena’s residence. The photos featured Karisma, Kareena and their close friends Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora and Mallika Bhat (celebrity makeup artist).
Karisma also shared the photos on her Instagram Stories and captioned it as “The OG Crew”. In one of the photos, the ladies can be seen celebrating the success of Crew by making a victory sign gesture as they pose for the camera. Kareena’s sister-in-law Saba Pataudi commented “THE REAL CREW” alongside a bunch of red heart emojis.
Crew, starring Kareena, Kriti Sanon and Tabu, has been running exceptionally well at the box office. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film earned Rs 21.40 crore gross worldwide on its third day. It has grossed over Rs 63 crore worldwide in just three days.
Crew revolves around three airhostesses who get involved in a smuggling racket. Their greed lands them in trouble and eventually, the film turns into a heist. Crew has received much praise from critics and Bollywood stars. Karan Johar congratulated the film’s team in his review on Instagram Story and wrote, “CREW was unapologetic and super fun. The girls killed it. Kudos to the powerhouse and my Gemini soulmate @ektarkapoor… the fashionably forever filmmaker @rheakapoor… the eternal fountain of genius talent @tabutiful… the always awesome and super gorgeous @kritisanon… and last but never the least my POO forever!! Alia Bhatt had also praised the cast of the Crew by giving a shoutout to them on social media. She wrote, “This #Crew has smashed the BO (sparkle emoji). Congratulations to these outstanding women on and off screen.” (sic)
