Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti has accused Indian Army soldiers of making Muslims chant Jai Shri Ram. Mehbooba said in a tweet on Saturday that the soldiers of 50 RR battalion entered a mosque in Pulwama and forced Muslim people to shout slogans.

He wrote – I am shocked to hear the news of 50 Rashtriya Rifles jawans entering the mosque in Pulwama and forcing the Muslims present there to say Jai Shri Ram. When Amit Shah is here, when such an act is being done and that too shortly before the yatra, it has been done only to provoke.

Mehbooba Mufti accused the army by tweeting this on Saturday.

Appealed to the military commander to investigate the incident
Mehbooba has also appealed to Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Rajeev Ghai to investigate the matter. Rajiv Ghai took command of the Chinar Corps on 14 June in Srinagar. He was entrusted with the responsibility of stopping infiltration along the border with Pakistan and anti-terrorist operation in Kashmir.

Mufti also claimed to have arrested Kashmiris
