Mehbooba said- Party workers should serve Amarnath Yatris: This is a golden opportunity to show Kashmiriyat; Pilgrimage will start from July 1

Mehbooba has appealed to the government not to let the local people face any problem during the yatra.

PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday asked party workers to serve the yatris during the upcoming Amarnath Yatra. He said- This pilgrimage is a golden opportunity to remind the country about Kashmiriyat. We have asked party workers and activists to cooperate in the Amarnath Yatra.

Mehbooba said after the party meeting that these passengers are our guests. As per our tradition, there should not be any deficiency in taking care of them. Welcome them, help them in every possible way and make the journey successful. The Amarnath Yatra will start from July 1 and will continue till August 31.

Mehbooba said – the government should not let the local people suffer
Mehbooba also appealed to the government not to let the local people face any problem during the yatra as they are the real hosts of the yatra. He said- Last year we had seen that many patients could not reach the hospital. Some pregnant women gave birth to babies on the road. That’s why I appeal to the government that this time the local people should not face any problem.

Mehbooba said that efforts are being made to give communal color to Hindu-Muslim relations across the country. In Uttarakhand, Muslim shops are being demolished and they are being evicted from their homes. During this, the valley has always sent the message of brotherhood.
