Mithun Chakraborty out of ICU and feeling better, deets inside | – Times of India

Veteran actor and politician Mithun Chakraborty, who suffered an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Stroke recently is reportedly feeling better. Actress Debashree Roy, who visited Mithun at the hospital, shared that he is out of the ICU and is currently recovering.
Debashree Roy told Times Now that Mithun Chakraborty is better now. She added that he was taken to the hospital in time, as his sugar levels had gone down and felt uneasy. She confirmed that Mithun Chakraborty is out of the ICU and recuperating in a room. She also divulged that they were supposed to shoot from February 23.
Filmmaker Pathikrit Basu also visited the actor and confirmed that Mithun Chakraborty is feeling better. “Mithun Da also said that he would resume shooting after a few days. He talked about the things he would be doing when he comes back on the sets,” Prathikrit Basu said.
Mithun Chakraborty was rushed to a private hospital in Kolkata on Saturday, February 10, after he complained of uneasiness. The hospital later confirmed that the actor suffered a stroke.
In a statement, the hospital said, “Shri Mithun Chakraborty (73), National Award-winning actor, was brought to the Emergency Department of Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, around 9.40 am with complaints of weakness in the right upper and lower limbs. Necessary laboratory and radiology investigations were carried out including an MRI of the brain. He has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) of the brain. Presently, he is fully conscious, well-oriented and has consumed soft diet. Shri Chakraborty is being further evaluated by a team of doctors including a neuro-physician, cardiologist and a gastroenterologist.”
