Mob launching in Maharashtra’s Parbhani: Mob thrashes three people mistaking them for thieves, minor dies, 4 accused arrested

In Ukhlad village of Parbhani tehsil in Maharashtra, a mob thrashed three people mistaking them for thieves. All three were badly injured by the beating. The villagers called the police and informed that they have caught three goat thieves. Then the police reached there. The police rescued all three from the mob and admitted them to the hospital where one of them died. The incident happened late on Saturday.

SP of Parbhani district Ragasudha R told that three youths Kripansing, Gorasing Tak and Arunsing Tak were going by bike late night. The villagers, mistaking them for thieves, caught all three and beat them up. Of these, Kripansingh later died. He is said to be a minor.

The video of the incident has also surfaced. Police has registered a case against a total of 9 people in this case. Out of these, 4 have been arrested late on Monday night. Among them, the main accused Akram Patel, former Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat, is also included. The rest of the accused are being searched.
