Deepika Padukone on the sets of Singham Again.
In Rohit Shetty’s latest cop film, Deepika Padukone will portray the character of Shakti Shetty.
Deepika Padukone had left everyone in awe with her first look as the lady Singham in Singham 3. In Rohit Shetty’s latest cop film, she will portray the character Shakti Shetty. And now, glimpses of Deepika from the sets have made their way to social media and gone viral.
In the photos, Deepika is dressed in a khaki police uniform, appearing all set to take on villains. She can be seen on the set with Rohit Shetty directing the scene. Check the photos here:
The film, featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, along with Ranveer Singh, was announced by the director on the first day of Navratri in October last year. Rohit, while unveiling the first look, revealed that Deepika would be essaying the role of the most ‘brutal and violent’ cop in his cop universe. In the first-look poster, Deepika was seen suited up in a police universe, holding a gun in her hand. The gun was placed in a man’s mouth while Deepika had a sinister smile while blood was seen oozing from her forehead and shoulders. Sharing the poster, Rohit had written, “Naari sita ka bhi roop hai aur durga ka bhi… Meet the most brutal and violent officer of our cop universe… Shakti Shetty… My lady Singham… Deepika Padukone.”
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is expecting her first child with actor-husband Ranveer Singh. The two announced their pregnancy in February this year when Deepika shared an adorable poster with “September 2024” written on it. The poster also had children’s clothes, toys and balloons as the border. Deepika and Ranveer have been married for over five years now. She will soon be seen alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in Kalki 2989 AD.
