The BJP has decided to corner the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government on several issues, including alleged scams and the agitation by contractual employees of government departments demanding regularization of service.

The monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly beginning on Tuesday is likely to be stormy as the opposition BJP tries to corner the Congress government on several issues including alleged scams and may also bring a no-confidence motion ahead of the state polls. This will be the last session of the assembly before the state goes to polls later this year.

The BJP has decided to corner the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government on several issues, including alleged scams and the agitation by contractual employees of government departments demanding regularization of service.

During the four-day session, the main opposition party will also bring a no-confidence motion against the Congress government.

The people of Chhattisgarh are angry with the Congress government and its policies. We will raise the voice of the public in the House. Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Narayan Chandel said that the BJP will raise the issue of scams related to Coal, Liquor, Land, Ration and Public Service Commission under the Baghel government.
