Morning trade up in most Adani group companies – Times of India

New Delhi: Most Adani group companies Morning trade picks up on Tuesday with flagship Adani Enterprises 5 percent increase. Amidst volatile trading in the market, as eight Adani Group The companies were trading in positive territory while two were in loss.
On the BSE, Adani Enterprises scrip jumped 15 per cent to the upper price band of Rs 1,808.25 with a market capitalization of Rs 2.06 lakh crore.
Adani Ports And the Special Economic Zone grew by 8.96 per cent to Rs 595 taking its market valuation to Rs 1.28 lakh crore.
While Adani Wilmar jumped 5 per cent to Rs 399.40, Adani Transmission gained 5 per cent to Rs 1,324.45, Adani Green Energy gained 2.10 per cent to Rs 906.15 and Adani Green Energy gained 4.21 per cent to Rs 924.90.
Two of the ten listed Adani group companies were in the red – Adani Total Gas fell 5 per cent to touch the lower price band of Rs 1,467.50, and Adani Power fell 4.99 per cent to the lower price band of Rs 173.35. ,
ACC advanced 2.17 per cent to Rs 2,012.55, Ambuja Cements gained over 3 per cent to Rs 391.15, and NDTV advanced 5 per cent to Rs 225.35 in the upper price band.
Six group companies closed in the red on Monday. The combined market capitalization of the group companies has declined by Rs 9.5 lakh crore since January 24, when US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research came out with an adverse report.
The Adani Group on Monday said the promoters will make a pre-payment of $1,114 million to release pledged shares of their firms before maturity in September 2024.
These shares belong to Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Adani Green Energy and Adani Transmission. The Hindenburg Research report has rattled investor sentiments towards Adani Group shares.
In the morning session, the 30-share BSE Sensex gave up early gains to close 76.15 points at 60,430.75.
