‘Mujhe Ghar…’: Nushrratt Bharuccha Fights Back Tears as She Returns From Israel; Gets Mobbed; Watch – News18

Nushrratt Bharuccha was visibly shaken and emotional as she landed in Mumbai from Israel. The Dream Girl actress was stranded in the war-torn country after Hamas, a Palestinian Islamist militant group, attacked Israel on Saturday. The actress was unable to contact her team after Saturday afternoon but reconnected with them on Sunday morning and informed them about her return. Although safe, Nushrratt appeared badly affected by the events unfolded on Saturday.

In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Nushrratt made her way out of the international airport in Mumbai and was immediately surrounded by the paparazzi and cameras. The actress struggled to make her way out, pleading everyone to let her go home. Nushrratt was seen fighting back her tears as she urged them to leave her. Soon, her team helped her out of the mob and safely escorted her to her car.

Earlier in the day, in a statement to News18, her team said, “We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home,” her team said in a statement to News18. “We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India,” they added.

Nushrratt was in Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. Her film Akelli was showcased at the film festival. On Saturday, when the attack took place, her team told India Today that they spoke to Nushrratt shortly after the attack but they had lost touch with her since Saturday afternoon. They said that she was in a basement of a building, protecting herself from the attacks.
