mumbai news: Officials said that the Mumbai Police received a threat call today (July 23) that a tanker full of RDX was moving from Mumbai to Goa with two Pakistani nationals.

Mumbai Police said, “At 1 am the Mumbai Police Control Room received a call that a white tanker loaded with RDX was on its way from Mumbai to Goa, which also had two Pakistani nationals.”

The Mumbai Police immediately alerted the Maharashtra ATS and the Goa Police Control Room. Police further said that the caller introduced himself as Pandey. Mumbai Police said that the police have verified the location from where the call was made, but are now trying to trace the caller.

More details are awaited and further investigation is on.

Similar incidents have happened in the past as well:

Earlier on July 13, an unknown person called the Mumbai Traffic Police Control Room and threatened to carry out an attack similar to the 26/11 attack. According to Mumbai Police, “Mumbai Police Control Room received a threat call yesterday in which the caller threatened the police to prepare for 26/11 terrorist attack if Pakistani national Seema Haider does not return to Pakistan.”
