Mumbai police to record actor Sahil Khan’s statement in Mahadev betting app case | Mumbai News – Times of India

MUMBAI: Actor Sahil Khan is set to appear before the Mumbai Police on Saturday to provide his statement regarding his alleged involvement in the Mahadev betting app case. The Special Investigating Team (SIT) of the Mumbai cyber cell had previously summoned Sahil and three others in December 2023, but he failed to appear for questioning at that time.
According to the first information report (FIR), the scam is estimated to be worth approximately Rs 15,000 crore. In the previous year, Ravi Uppal, one of the main accused in the case, was apprehended in Dubai by local authorities. Sources indicate that the arrest was carried out by Dubai police based on an Interpol red corner notice issued at the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Sahil is recognized for his roles in films such as “Style” and “Excuse Me”. Currently, he works as a fitness expert and founded his own company, Divine Nutrition, a couple of years ago. The company offers fitness supplements, including whey protein, creatine and muscle gainers.
